At Ferndale Care Home we accept the absolute necessity to care for residents physically, but recognise that stimulation, companionship and encouragement are equally important.
Social events are organised from time to time and residents and relatives are encouraged to participate. The activities and therapeutic techniques offered include the below:
Residents who wish to attend a church service are encouraged and assisted to do so. Clergy from various churches make regular visits to Ferndale and Holy Communion is given in the home each month. The Manager and staff will be happy to make whatever arrangements they can to help residents continue with their preferred form of worship.
